Cheryl Bookout is a studio artist, independent curator, arts administrator and arts activist. She has worked with the cities of Santa Ana and Pomona to develop their arts districts. She has also facilitated numerous public art projects including "Envisioning the Future" with Judy Chicago and Donald Woodman and in 2007 served as a curatorial consultant for Multiple Vantage Points: Southern California Women Artists, 1980-2006. She currently serves as president of the Southern California Women's Caucus for Art and as Director of Community Engagement for A Window Between Worlds. Her artwork has been broadly shown in solo and group exhibitions throughout the Pacific Region.
