Seda Saar is an artist, curator, filmmaker and designer. Born in Iran and raised in the United Kingdom, she moved to the US in 1982 after completing her undergraduate studies in architecture and design at London Metropolitan University. She then pursued graduate studies at Art Center in Pasadena in digital storytelling while working full time for major studios with a specialty on theme parks. Saar maintains a painting and photography studio in Malibu. She is currently exploring light in a series of digital creations that capture the joy she feels in nature. Both her artwork and curatorial practices address environmental concerns. Her work has been shown broadly in the United States, Europe and China.
